I'm not sure how many will be there but the TVRCC has a big stand this year for the 60th Anniversary. As there were over 50 Tivs on the stand last year there should be more this year so hope to see plenty of other Tiv owners there as well smile

I'm hoping to go on Sat and will be on the stand so will see some of you there. The forecast isn't that good but there's time for it to improve yet.

I was thinking of coming over 'the border' to Tatton Park on either Saturday or Sunday, though unfortunately cry may not be able to come in the Chim as there may be four of us (+ dog). Is there another link on here where I can find more information on what is happening there more generally on either day?

Can you just roll up on the day and display, or do you have to book with the TVRCC / Tatton?

With this years Tatton show we are celebrating 60 years of TVR, space is very limited due to display items such as a "TVR Timeline", Tuscan race cars together with transporter etc.

At the last TVR stand organising meeting it was stressed that this year if you turn up without a pass you will be turned away from the stand. sorry but that is this years position, last year people just turned up on
spec and the stand was overflowing.

Hi, Alan - what I can't understand is how people without a stand pass can get through the 'security' barrier in the first place? Are the guys on the entry gate just not doing their job properly, or are they just smitten by a Tiv? wink

Well yes and no. I agree with all the arrangements for this year and yes the stand was rather full last year. However all who went on the stand and asked ,in all innocence , can I have a pass please and then I can bring my car on , were indeed given one. I think my car was the last one on the stand but we all had to be given permission in the first place. I don't remember a free for all .
Anyway lets hope the weather improves and all the cars , on the stand and in the car park , can be shown at their best.

Ticket arrived this morning. We will be taking Dots Tamora and leaving the Tuscan at home this time. The plan is to stay Saturday and Sunday.

Unfortunately the Tam goes in for a new windscreen on Thursday and we can't pick it up until Friday late afternoon, which only leaves me a couple hours on Friday evening to give it a good going over. I may well have to give it a final polish when we get there.

See ya there.
