Keys and immobiliser

I have today picked up a 1999 Chimaera from a local auction house. It was a repossesed car due to the owner not paying his finance charges. Unfortunately it has no keys and no Immob fob. Anybody got any idea of how I can proceed. Can the Immob be by-passed if I can get a key cut by a locksmith? I am in Melbourne Australia

The ignition barrel is a standard Vauxhall/Opal part so that should pose no problem in Oz, just contact your local Holden outlet. The immobiliser is a Meta so you'll need to Google for a local agent
