GT3 RS wheel refurb
Discussion
My lovely RS is suffering from the apparently common blistering of the lacquer problem
Been trying to find someone who has sorted this issue before (I'm sure I'm not the first)
What are my options please ? contacts of companies that have sorted this out before would be very much appreciated

Bit of a trek from you in Staffs but they did an excellent job on my 18" turbos.

Now in Sevenoaks -highly recommended. Call Gareth on 01732 779100.
The problem with them is that you could nearly buy a new set of wheels for what they charge. (350 a corner + vat!)Now in Sevenoaks -highly recommended. Call Gareth on 01732 779100.

Clive,
I started a thread on this subject when I got my RS, I spoke with Nick Moss at early911 as he has refurbed GT3 alloys before and also anodises alloys, from what I can gather the rims are difficult to refurb and that corrosion will probably return, anodising and then powdercoating is the best long term solution but is not cheap, although cheaper than buying new alloys.
I have a spare set of Mk2 alloys that I use on track and will probably get them powdercoated in a similar way that Glenn Mc got his done black, i.e mask off the lip. Stick the originals in the garage and buy some BBS's for track.
Dan, I would worry about buying a new set as they will only go off as well, unless you get them extensively re-coated?
