Replacement MAF for 964

Now I know that I'm not supposed to understand things like this because I only drive a Porsche to look as sexy as hell (oops, different thread). It's just that the 964 is currently off the road waiting for it's refurbed brake calipers to arrive. As it's not running, my other half has decided that it's time to bite the bullet and replace the MAF to improve the flat spot at 4k revs. We've been quoted c.700 quid for a new one from Jasmine and Design911.

Any advice from the PH collective knowledge about sourcing MAFs (Bosche v. Porsche parts)? Alternative suppliers perhaps? Recent experience of replacing a MAF in a 964 and good/bad news stories?

Mine was about 250 I think. JZM did it for me about 6 years ago.
