Anyone know of any Zonda's for sale for under 200k.. I looked at one a few years ago at Joe macari's that was well priced. im looking for something new and its doing my head in..
The Metcalfe effect has ended £200k Zondas - at least for while. Macari sold his and Rio Prestige bought theirs and since then the market has been quite strong in the UK. I was offered an 06 ClubSport F today for €455,000 plus VAT - there are very few cars for sale at the moment.Edited by TCF on Tuesday 29th May 19:29

...just cant see why anyone would want this glorified kit car..would much prefer carrera gt and plenty of change...i am sure metcalfe got promised some factory assistance ...seems to be on good terms with them anyway...
What are the Carrera Gt's changing hands for these days?paul0843 said:

I used to be with you on this. Until I visited the factory.Calling them a glorified kit car is doing them a massive disservice. The quality of their carbon work etc is exemplary, and the way they put them together makes Lambos etc seem mass produced. The detail work is simply stunning.
I still think they look awkward from some angles (the rear), and some of the details are a bit much (probably have to blame the person who placed the order here!). And with 300+k burning a hole in my pocket I'd probably spend my money elsewhere too (none of the latest uber-cars float my boat - CGT included. I'd buy a couple of classics and something modern but slightly less in your face I think). But to dismiss them as a "glorified kit car" is making a mistake IMO.

Go and get your coat.
I think they are far far more interesting than the other companies producing 'supercars' obviously I love all of them but Pagani for me are no:1 !
I do agree on the overpriced part but then again this is a seriously exclusive marque.

also not been as reliable as metcalfe hoped...regular gearbox problems...but then to be expected with low development budget kit cars..
From what was reported it was down to a non approved change to the Zonda S box which was switched with one part of the F gearbox which also required another part to be included but was not. IMO I would have thought if they had supplied it they would have asked what it was for but what do I know. The Walrus said:

Was all blown out of proportion. I think Metcalfe must of typed the report whilst fuming from his breakdown

I too have been looking for a long time, but alas to no avail! Regrettably, I think you have to be thinking nearer in the region of £300K. Fortunately, my CGT has dulled my enthusiasm to continue my search for a Zonda, but who knows................
Good luck in your search.
Yes i would be keen on a Koenigsegg.. The only thing 300k is to much.. im sure its a great car.. The one at Hudsons is that the Saywell car.. If it is i sure would like to talk with him directly..
