Seen the posts about double DIN adaptors, etc, but was wondering whether anyone had fitted a single DIN adaptor - much wider range of HUs afterwards! Any pics of how it looks would be good.....thanks.

If you have seen the Double DIN posts have a look in the LS2 forum that is often pointed at - there are a few pictures of a Single DIN installation in there.

Hi BO55 - unless someone beats me to it, I'll put something together in the next few days (maybe until the weekend) as I've just been through all of this myself and have a lot of info I can share.

Here is the link to a single DIN thing if you haven't found it:

I know that Metra also can provide one.

Certainly does seem a lot to digest - replacement surrounds, wiring loom alterations, steering wheel controls - to name but a few.

Does it have the slot for the unit at the top or the bottom?
I have installed an Alpine DVD nav, but I have had to fit it in the bottom slot so the screen doesn't obscure all the controls for the heating etc when it pops up. I just have a pocket in the top slot at the moment.
