Hi,

I've noticed a particular car in the classified is up for sale as "never tracked", however due to the rarity of the car it stuck out like a sore thumb to me, I've seen it on track before driven hard and have photos on my hard drive.

I'm 99% certain it's the car advertised here, I've done my research, there are less than 10 in existence, plus I've noticed certain identifying marks on the car make it unbelievably unlikely that it's one of the few others in the country.

What do I do?! I would hate for someone to buy it and not be aware of the full history (it could be that the current seller isn't even aware).

It's a tricky one. We do get reports of cars not being exactly as described, but then that's always been a problem - we just benefit from a closer knit community here.

Not much can be done really as it would be complex for us to get embroiled in disputes. In extreme cases (write-offs etc) we have intervened but these are rare occasions.

At the end of the day, buyers must just exercise caution - that's always been the case.
