Was on the phone to the TVR centre and they started the old girl!

No zorsts yet and inside the workshop so sounded awesome! They are checking cooling, fans, tuning etc but at least she is well on the way. Engine started first time easily apparantly which is cool, I guess it was the first time it had started for at least 6 weeks, maybe a bit longer.

Time for some thank yous methinks. In no real order here....

Itsallyellow I think - Mike anyway - so far TVR centre are saying the engine appears to be in good fettle, exactly as stated. Runs ok so far and they are checking cooling, tuning etc but so far so good. Exactly as I had expected. You have been a total gent and a pleasure to do business with. My thanks to you.

Boss - thaks for your advice as ever

Bumblebee - night in shining armour for rescuing me and letting me moan at you.

Slvercerb - advice, moaning etc!

Lots of others - advice, suggestions for places to get parts, support and generally being nice!

Big hug to PH massive, remains the best forum bar none IMHO. Could have her back for the weekend, yay!!!!!

Off to do some work now.

Good News Adam. I should get mine back in about 2 weeks time so I'll have been 12 loooong weeks without a Cerb. The mini's great but 1000 miles a month in one is starting to jarr my spine somewhat - mind you I've only had to put about £3.76 of petrol in. hehe

Getting her tomorrow! She flew through her MOT although needed rear tyres and one light bulb but other than that, not an issue. Engine was misfiring last night but I think it was a frayed lead or a dodgy connection as it took TVR centre no time to solve it. A bit excited over here!

The engine seems to be perfect (thanks again Mike) and at the risk of repeating myself, a huge thanks to everyone who helped out.

Tomorrow I will have to do a few miles as a test drive I suppose. 100 miles or so should do it. Oh well, going to be a terrible day for me then!!!
