Does anyone know of any tunnels in the Thames Valley region? The longer, the better! smile Also, are there any tunnel runs planned in the near future?

Not being funny and I'm sure you're a nice bloke, but you'd be better off going on a general run and letting people see you don't drive like a cock (if you haven't already) then someone will explain all I'm sure.

There are some quality tunnels at heathrow!

The only ones I can think of in the area are the Heathrow tunnels. As for Tunnel Runs, they happen from time to time wink

Fair enough I suppose, but I definitely don't drive like a cock - Can't afford to! wink Cheers for the info though - I was just looking for a tunnel to accentuate one's exhaust note smile

@AngryS3Owner: Will do thumbup

@DonnyMac: Thanks! I bought the Elise last weekend, although I will be picking it up tomorrow evening ... The 306 was unfortunately written off when someone decided to use the rear of the car as an additional means of braking - The chassis was damaged beyond feasible repair bills. Still, her insurance company paid up quick! smile

Although not a tunnel, the western side of the Reading ring road (the IDR) is a deep concrete ravine with a number of bridges over it thumbup

Personally I prefer the tunnel just west of terminal 5 on the Heathrow perimter road. It used to be very quiet hehe

I had to collect a potential new business partner from Heathrow T1 recently. I gave him the choice of the sensible, adult way out, or the childish little boy way out.

Fortunately, he made the right choice... All windows down, sunroof open and off we went through the service tunnel. biggrin
