Heard good and bad things about them. Some say that the top ups need to be more regular, therefore costing you more in the long run..

Also, be difficult to find someone who has had the treatment several years, as they have not been around for that long. Also if they have compared it to a good wax..to say Zymol etc..

Do a search in Permaguard, should be lots of info on it..

Me.....me wavey
Have a look at my website listed on my profile - there's a collection from "permagard day".
I was advised to have it topped up after a year. This is done at half the original cost.
I'll only be doing 3000 - 4000 miles pa so am expecting it to last maybe 2 years.
Getting flies off the front is a doddle after treatment and water drops off amazingley well leaving the car virtually dry.
Highly recommended. Had mine done near Stockport.

It's fantastic. Got mine done in December 06 when I had just over 1K on the clock. Just use a jet wash with no shampoo to get the dirt off and then dry it with a micro fibre. I've now done 5K and it still comes back really well. It cost me £165 and they give it another clean for 50% less. Picture on my profile of the car just after it was done.

In some ways its even better when you have it done on an older car (2002 996 C4S) and it comes out looking fantastic and is much easier to keep looking good, particularly if you use it every day like me, and prefer driving to washing (the car :-))
I've since had my wifes Landcruise (2000) and my son's Yaris done as well as it is so good. I also used Graham in Stockport, who provides a first class service.
