H&R Cupkit is widely regarded as the best out there bar coilovers for an e30. Comes in a 35/35 kit and a 60/40 kit. I had the 60/40 on a Sport previously and found it to be very good.

For brakes I don't think there's any quick or easy fix. Have a look at one of the kits on www.rallydesign.com

I think there's a wilwood setup on ebay : Link

Also there was a WMS setup on there somewhere. Otherwise have a look on http://www.e30zone.co.uk - there's plenty of good advice on the forum. Actually the standard calipers with decent pads and disks are pretty good - Zimmermann disks and brembo pads (std) work well on a friend of mine's 325iS...

Unless you're Hans Stuck, standard discs and calipers will be fine with a set of uprated pads.
Ferodo DS2500 are about right, good bite, no fade; they do tend to wear a bit though. If this is a problem, EBC Greenstuff last longer (and are very kind to discs), but can be made to fade with repeated hard use. Mintex 1155s and Pagid Black are sensible upgrades, too.
I'm putting Pagid RS29s (very hard endurance racing pads) on the front of my 320i; I don't care if they trash the discs, OEM grade replacements are c.£40 a pair from GSF - half the price of a set of decent pads.
