Sounds like you will have a big, big problem: One Club Arnage member described last years situation on MB as follows:

“Monday: Choose your spot, Tuesday: Choose your spot. Best ones will have gone, Wednesday: Some large areas left, Thursday: Hardly any room left, Friday: Forget MB unless you have mates keeping you room, Saturday: You must be joking”

This year may of course be different as the ACO have introduced zoning and marked out pitches for MB.

Hopefully this will mean that they have only sold as many passes as there are pitches and they will monitor how many spaces are being used by each group so there *should* be space left by the end of the week.

How many passes do you have? The issue may be whether they plan to put any system in place to try to leave blocks of space rather than there being odd spaces scattered around the zone.

Edited to say: Ahh just re-read and presumably you have 3 passes?

I think you'll cope - there will be space, at worst you might manage to get two spaces together to camp on with a third for the cars if you can't get them anywhere else. There are areas of the campsite that do not show as having marked pitches on them, when we asked the ACO we were told that camping would only be permitted in the marked areas, I imagine that if you can't find space at the tail end of the week they will allow usage of these areas.

I wouldn't get too worried. We arrived late Friday last year and 'created' space for two cars, a very big tent and a gazebo. People are fairly understanding about new arrivals squeezing in. The space that we occupied last years was an 'unnecessary' road between two other sites and, since there was another exit only bit along, we filled it. Look out for these types of space and you'll be fine.tank

Ask nicely first and somebody will move for you. Barge in and you'll be a lot less welcome. I'd suggest some form of cold beer compensation for your new neighbours would be the most effective means to get some help, so arrive with some. smile

Good point, the year we came back late Friday night to discover someone camped in the middle of our pitch we were quite pissed off. However, last year we moved things around to get two lots of folks in next to us and let them park on "our pitch".

Talk to people and mainly (with some exceptions that I won't mention!) they will do what they can to help you out.
