Big Flat spot!

Hi chaps! been out today for the first time since i bought it last weekend I have noticed at about 2k sometimes there is a very bad flat spot! has anyone else had this? it dont happen all the time but when it does it feels so bad i think the engine is dying! lasts for about half a second the its fine!

I flagged a flat spot at a similar point when the car went in for its 6k service - was fixed by replacing both throttle potentiometers.

I'm not sure about a flat spot, but my cerb hates being anywhere near 2k revs before it's up to temp. After that it loves 2k revs on the overrun; it's made many a car do an emergency stop.

If it's not in sorts when running on temp., have a look.

Hi Don, its the same when its up to temp also! but dont do it all the time, i bought the car from "brooksie" who has fitted a throttle pot himself! im not convinced its set spot on? maybe somthing else though in fairness?
Yesterday was ticking over at 1200rpm for the first 25 miles then later on it was fine again at 950rpm! hehe aint they great!lol
