Well thats another 2 tanks of shells finest disposed of - but a spectacular way to get shot of it
0900hrs Shrewsbury
1000hrs Saracens Head Cerrigydrudion for coffee
1030hrs Sportsmans Arms (Closed suprise suprise)
1100hrs Side of the road tying up my now snapped (second time in 2 years!)offside rear lower tie bar - oops I wasnt giving it THAT MUCH honest!
Anyway a ball of string & two cable ties later and jobs a good un off we go again being a little mor righteous with the ol right foot now though.
down tha A470 then across A4212 to Bala across the old B4391 to Peny Bont and on towards the A5
back tpo Shrewsbury then home all in just under 5 hrs (including 2 fuel stops, coffee break - removal of rear wheel running repair to suspension) and a Leek (sorry leak)

Now where can I get that rear tie bar replaced before next Sundays Elan Valley Run ??????

Perhaps have one made locally.... Seem to remember that when people needed one (not me), it was difficult to find. But it shouldn't be too difficult to have one remade. Assuming left and right is the same, and you could present both to a decent mechanic to make you two in the process perhaps.

I suspect your right Rob - If I end up going that route I`ll see if I can get something more substantial built (in titanium or high carbon steel perhaps as this is fast becoming a regular habit!
