New to Cerb ownership and obviously still a little wary loser so as for once the sun had been good enough to grace us with its presence, I decided to take good lady wife and both offsrping out for a run. Stop of at agarden centre to collect a new pump and filter for the pond and on all re entering the car, give the little prayer to the start god and all is well thumbup.

However, just before exiting the car park I could hear a buzzing sound ears coming from the near side three quarter area of the car and am sure that the fuel pump is still priming so turn all off, on again, off and on again and still this buzzing sound is present - worry now creeping in scratchchin.

Look across to good lady wife fearing that I am now going to have to explain something is wrong with the car she told me I should not have bought several times to see a look of combined disappoitment and annoyance on her faceirked. I explain my concerns in a quiet voice and she without a word points out of my window at a youth flying a remote control plane in the field next to the car park with said plane overhead. Hence the buzzing and oh the relief cloud9.

Numpty on my part most certainly but I bet I'm a not alone in worrying needlessly.

Happy motoring all (also today managed to stall the car in the middle of a large, light controlled junction with all four incoming roads full of cars staring at the idiot in the yellow car blocking the centre - no peeped horns or gestures though)

Also fairly new to cerb ownership,,, and stalled it in the centre of Leeds so I know exactly how you feel. Don't worry though it just gets better and better... The silliest thing we sussed out was the 40lbs psi in the rear near side tyre, 30 lbs on the other side,, and the fronts were also way off - no wonder previous owner sold it on! Drives like a dream now! Just take it easy with the rear wheel drive. old pilots etc etc.

Craig, just noticed you're in Worcs - do come down to the Cotswold 3 Counties club meets - second wednesday evening and last sunday lunchtime of every month - would be great to add to the Cerbera tally, and we're a really nice bunch. We expect for one or two, but we don't talk about them (or to them) wink

Details are here - http://www.tvrcc-c3c.co.uk/events.asp

You'd be more than welcome, and it'd be good to raise the numbers of Worcs attendees too, as there are only a few of us compared with the Gloucester lot - having said that, we get the best of it as we have the longest drive! cloud9

Indeed, gave mine quite a good thrashing at the weekend as Cerbielee will vouch.

Just need to get it running as it should and new suspension and brakes fitted and should be fun thumbup

Aha ! That's what that bloody noise is. Have been crapping myself for the last 2 years wondering what was going to fall off or fail. Thanks for putting my mind at rest - That's another great thing about Cerb ownership is the wonderful open and helpful nature of fellow revellers !

Took mine out yesterday aftie and what a WONDERFUL time we had !! Mungo Jerry eat your heart out ! drivingcloud9

The fact that you notice things like that means you'll be fine in Cerb ownership

Don't worry - about a thing - every little thing's gonna be alright.... etc etc.

Just allow yourself to enjoy it and let that grin take hold. Whats the worst that could happen... not alot, anyone in any car could need the AA sometime.
