Someone mentioned that hanging a CD from the rear view mirror, deflects lasers. Seen a few taxi's with them. How true is this. Anyone else heard of it?

It's the laser reflecting back to the police that allows them to measure your speed...
And besides, being able to hit a CD from the ranges that police use lasers from would be quite tricky, and IIRC they aim for your number plate, or there abouts.

as the police usualy aim for the numberplate,i shouldnt think it will do much at all.

It was a ruse set up several years ago by a "Max Revs" style magazine to see how many idiots they could get to drive around with CDs dangling from their cars.

For more reliable results try the Snooper SLD 920.
