Well there I was thinking I was Mr Rossi, took a corner to fast, hit the curb, went flying through the air landed on my shoulder (nothing broken just hurts like hell), Luckily there was a nice bit of grass to cushion the fall.
Surprisingly the bike is not that badly damaged a few scratches and will probably needs some new cowling.
Feel a right tw*t, but lesson learned, as I know it could of been a hell of a lot worse.
Does anyone know where I can get one of those servant bells for my GF, I don't think I can make it to the fridge for a beer

Glad you're not feeling too bad. Bike can be fixed bit more difficult with a person.Surprisingly the bike is not that badly damaged a few scratches and will probably needs some new cowling.

BTW is it just me or does pretty much every new pistonheader who gets their bike license bin/drop it in some way?
Whats the count up to now?

That's the spirit (get up and have another go, not make a slave from your GF

You're mainly OK, which is always good, and now you've just moved up the leaderboard
in the PH Top bike basher league , bonus

It can be a funny game...you are in danger off a spill when your a newbie...then you get some skills & are OK...then you get better & start pushing..& start falling off again...

This sound familiar...ride it, bin it - get some skills, push it, bin it again...it's a learning process

Now when do I face the corner that had me off...
As soon as you can get back out on the bike do the corner again & again. This way you will learn from your off and then you'll be able to put that corner to the back of your mind, just make sure you look through the corner and the bike will follow.

Bike's are unstable creatures - they fall over sometimes. Don't sweat it, just learn from your mistakes and get back on. We've all clipped the odd kerb in a car (well I know I have once or twice) but as you found out, on a bike it tends to have more severe consequences! The most important thing is that you're ok.
