my question is: how much is it worth ? he wants near 20k , but its also in a running auction on ebay at the mo.

you dont hardly ever see any of these replicas for sale, so how much have any previous sold for?

I believe I saw blue one go for about 13 - 14k, was well built, the guy had 2, this was a year or so ago.

I nearly bought the blue one 18 months ago, he wouldn't budge on 10k but it needed totally re-building as it had been used for 10 years, and I wouldnt pay that much for it. Eventually sold for 8k I believe. A good one sold for 16k but to be fair, that one looks bloody luuuurrrrrvvvvvvllllllllllllyyyyyyy so I guess he can ask what he want's, and someone will have to pay what they think its worth. I'd say yes, if its as good in the flesh as it looks in the photo. Rarity alone means there is not much choice. Go for it. Slightly jelous.

There was one like that for sale last year, about 16-17K I think ?? (don't know what it sold for but it sold) I was interested in it, asked around and it had sold to somebody for about 10K the year before, they then sold the private plate and then made a few bob on it. Think it was a Kara replica or something ?? Don't know what this one is.

Lovely car, I remember racing home from school to catch a glimpse of Martin Schanche rallyracing with the original. Spectacular as could be.
Missed the Ebay auction though, anyone know what the final bid through Ebay was?

not very impressed with the guy selling the car.
he ended the 1st auction on ebay early, then re-listed, lowerd the reserve then sold early.

in the meantime i emailed him, offerd him my 98 griffith 500 + cash,at which he seemed very interested,but then he turned me down wanting 4k and my car.that valued my car at 15k , then he lowers the reserve, sells early, ignores my email.

and to add insult he is a pistonheads member.

Just out of intrest, does anybody know roughly how much a kit is to build/buy as these are really taking to my liking at the minute. I know it's dependent on spec so as a rough guide i'd like a mildly tuned Cosworth 4x4 unit under there.
