MID ESSEX CONVOYS XLIX

It's that time of the month again... the second Sunday of the month, which means it's time for the Mid Essex TVRCC meet… so Sunday 10th June means, as always, it's convoy time.

Most will know the drill by now, but for those that don't we'll be meeting at the White Hart as usual from about 11:00 for the main convoy leaving at 12:00, and if you're on the Southend meet, at the bays on Thorpe Bay front for 10.15 to 10.30 leaving at 10.45 for the TB pre meet convoy.

How do I get to the White Hart..?

1) Take the A12 towards Colchester,
2) Turn off at J19 (Boreham) – keep in the left-hand lane,
3) Take the 2nd exit,
4) Follow the road, it turns to a 40mph,

The White Hart is on your left a few hundred yards further on.
If you get to the roundabout, you have gone too far..!

SOUTHEND PRE MEETING POINT is the parking bays on the front by Thorpe Bay yacht park, in between where Thorpe Hall Avenue and Maplin Way meet the front. 10.15 to 10.30 leaving 10.45

The pre meet is hardly a new job is it ? When I write my memoirs, I'm gonna dedicate an entire chapter to you pal, you see if I don't.

Do we have any other Mid Essex joining us this month... Or is it just me and lead foot ?

I won't be joining the convoy for obvious reasons. I will however try my best to make the meeting itself...

Oh and anyone who would like a copy of the Big Bad Wedge Fest 2006 DVD, who hasn't already got one, please could you let me know before hand, so that I can do a copy for you.

Will try to join the T.Bay convoy as should be down that way on Sunday morning and still haven't made it to a meet and would like to put some faces to names. Can't remember what stopped me last time, but now I've got to sought out a couple of tyres by the weekend or I'll be car-less...again.
Wont be able to stop for lunch though as working that night.

Hold your horses Del thankfuly no news yet.. still few weeks to go....

I/We may well still come to the meets just have to wait and see how it goes.. mind you a run out in a 110dB car may well be my only chance of piece and quiet in the coming months

That depends did I take the micky out of the colour of your car?? if not it probably wasn't me

I haven't had my manifolfds done either, it could have been Tegriffic he has a green griff not quite as nice a colour as mine though and Leven fitted his manifolds..
