Just wanted to say a big thank you to Steve Hole at TKC, all the guys at MSV, and everyone who turned up at the weekend for a superb time.

The organisation was very good, the weather fantastic and we had a great time demonstrating the car.

It was nice to see so many familiar faces, including people from here (step forward Andy GTT among others) and a group of Murtaya kit owners who are hoping to have their cars at next years event.

Any feedback from a customers point of view as opposed to a manufacturer (either on the day in general or on any of the cars that were there being demonstrated)?

Neil.

Agree with everything Neil says above.

Steve and his team at TKC did a fantastic job and apart from a few red flags during the day all went well down at the TEAM GTM camp.
I thought that the driving standards on track were a lot better this year generally and all the passengers I took out were really enthusiastic about the opportunity to see what the cars can do without the risk of intervention by Mr Plod and Mr Gatso !!!!

The post lunch display of all the manufacturers cars on track for some slow laps with commentary from the famous Brian Jones was a good touch to keep everyone informed what was special about all the cars that attended.

All the cars on display both static and on track for GTM were owner built cars and the steady number of requests for demo runs on track kept me and the rest of the boys busy all day.

Looking forward to the next one now.

ps Neil I did mean to come and say hello and compliment you on the new colour scheme on your car but was kept a bit busy all day.
It certainly looks like you have it handling a lot better than last time you were at Brands and sounded great at full chat along the main straight! well done.

I'll have to come and blag a ride in it at one of the future events ?

Thanks for the positive comments Cameron.

Handling, the only thing that was different was a set of Toyos instead of cheap Chinese rubber. All the suspension settings were the same!

Already looking foward to next year where we will have customer cars outside, the GTM cars at the back of the pits looked great, I liked the light coloured one with the V6 in the back (nice to see one that was not red or yellow!).

We will be at Snetterton as well, pop over then for a ride (or have a drive at the factory if you are ever down our way).

The car is competing in a 1/8 mile drag comprtition in Devon on Sunday this week. Should be interesting, although as the car is then off to Le Mans a couple of days later the launches will be transmission friendly rather than full on attack!

Neil.

Yes Indeed I did go on Saturday, was a fantastic day but I was surprised to see that there didn't appear to be many punters there.

The Adrenalin stand seemed to be constantly mobed though, but I did get to pick Neils brains again and have a good chat with the young lad who designed the Toniq...
Felt a bit bad actualy as I was originaly interested in the Toniq but after much debate with the guy I dismissed it purelly as I didn't want to build an R1 engined car.... and I am now building an R1 engined Indy!!!

I do still love the GD Lola T70... I just am not quite sold on the body shape which is a shame as it would suit my needs (and budget) very well.

I really would like to see this event do well as I love the concept and there is loads of scope for it to grow. When I was considering the Indy I made sure I went for ride in one at this event and I consider that a HUGE benefit before I bought the kit.
