I have the Saturday results from Stan and have posted them here:
http://www.westhouse.plus.com/results/Golspie%20Ju...
James Brims had FTD in his Pilbeam
Angus had a new Sports Libre record although JP's Radical was also under the old record.
Graham Sinclair was also getting the hang of his Radical - certainly showed up Angus and JP in the wet on Sunday grumpy
On Sunday it was just too wet for using slicks so, as JP and Angus did not have wets, they packed up early.
I think that Wallace Menzies had FTD on Sunday but I do not have the full results.

"Angus did not have wets"

That would explain a certain person being 'Pro Cancelling' during the drivers meeting !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't believe the number of people there who weren't prepaired for the weather, hell mend them I say !!

Anyone got any houses for sale in Aberdeeen? If so, hurry up and put hem on the market with a certain solicitors company so a partner can then afford some wets...

I'll have to work on how to help Angus ... maybe he could start selling said soliciting partner kitty litter - Boyndie fast approaches ...

Good call! Though it's a tyre rack that's required. I had wets (of sorts) at home but lack of space dictated it was either the kids or the wets. Some may think I made the wrong choice but if so - "Hell mend me" wink

I'm no lawyer, but I'm sure strapping children to a tyre rack breaks some kind of law ?

G-Man hijacking Broomsticklady's account again. We missed Saturday which by all accounts was fun - and dry. I am waiting for the official results from Sunday before I catch up on the Kames/Golspie scoring.

I believe Wallace was FTD on Sunday. Jonathan looked quicker on the first run (sorry, Wallace!)but lost it at Paddock on lap one - the recovery showed just how much skill Jonathan has, as a lesser driver would have been in the tyres, but all that recovery cost time on the clock. John Stevenson and Garry Dickson were stars in the conditions, but I don't know how things ended up behind Wallace and Jonathan.

Other than that I am going to gossip no further, as it only gets me into trouble in certain quarters....

no comment censored I left my outbord motot on the bot at home, it would have been better suited to rivers flowing on the track at the time of the meeting.

Saturday time woohoo but it is too fast to beat in September (If I get an entry)

Kylestrome Swim Meet Sunday

FTD Wallace M (DJ)
2nd JR (IV) (Jedi)
3rd Colin C (OMS)

Move of the day - Gary Dickson handbraking his way out of trouble in practice.
Drive of the day - Geordag Coghill(jnr) with a class win.
Perfect summary - 'nuff said.

What a shit day! ... I don't mind a downpour but relentless rain for the whole time isn't good at all. I have everything I had up there drying out now.

Good on Matt Rae taking our class ... I could dig in to the excuses box but it was was fair and square.

On reflection, a good weekend overall though (now it's over). Nice to catch up with heaps of people.

Cheers,

Eric (King of platitudes) smile

For the mathematicians out there, Sunday was officially 'wet' - but only just! John Stevenson earned 23+ points and, as the best score, had his total ramped up to 32. Everyone else gets the same points hike (i.e. the difference between John's earned score and 32).

The updated points after both Kames and Golspie are with the Webmaster and should be posted on www.scottish-sprinting.co.uk soon. With all the front runners taking lumps out of bogey times, there will be some adjustments for the return to Kames and Golspie - roll on Boyndie and Alford!

Hi, Hope your all doing well.
My review of Golspie,It was a very nice day on the sat, Last year my best time was 111.77 and got 4th place.
My frst practice this year i got 107.82, second practice 107.34, First timed run was 107.77 ans second timed run was 107.47 so i was well happy that i was 4 seconds faster this year but still only got 6th this year :-(
Vid clip from sat
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jB0CchwVGg&mod...

Sunday it was wet very wet!!
My first practice i got a 90.67, Second practice i almost lost it and still got a 88.90 and the first timed run i did lost it but the timing gear was not working so i got a re-run but by this time my windows were cumbing up as my heater was not working and got a 91.86.
The second timed run i never did as 1, i could not see out of my windows and 2 my gearbox was sounding ill and my clutch started smell a little but she was still going.
Here a vid clip of the sunday with me and some other cars in my class.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uq3uQAyFLa0&mod...

Looks like i will miss the next race as i think i will be offshore so i have removed the gearbox and transfer box and will give the car a look over.

I forgot to say, My DVDs will not work in my computer so i had to play them on my DVD player and use my cam corder and tape it off my TV :-(

Cheers
Regards
Stu
