Easy to get the latest F1 shift software fitted to a 360 ?

I do like the F1 shift in the 360, but on the 2 examples I drove (2000 & 2001 cars) the F1 shift was quite jerky, and going into reverse, 1st, reverse (like perhaps getting into or out of a garage or car parking space) was again quite jerky.
I have been told that the latest software patch addresses this a fair bit :
A) Is this true?
B) How easy is it to install & cost to have it fitted ?
If the basic hardware hasn't changed much and its just the software update that really helps, then this would be a real bonus.

Cool, anyone know if it makes a big difference and is worth doing ?
Massive difference!... my first 360f1 was a 1999 car, and as you say, seriously neck breaking changes, especially in 'sport' mode. I've upgraded the Ecu on my current 2002 model year car to the latest software version and the difference is fantastic... so much smoother changes in any 'setting mode' ..I'm a big fan of the paddle shift!Gassing Station | Supercar General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
