just back from Avon Raceway there was a yellow ultima sticking in some impressive consistant times, the best I saw was 11.9 and a terminal speed of 122mph, any of you guys?

That would be CLIVEGTR, I didn't go because I live 2-3hrs away and it looked like rain my way.

as it turned out the rain held off, there was a shower early on that took a while to clear. A few spillages held things up quite a bit, so not as many runs were had as people wished. His car looked sweet, got one of his runs on video but haven't looked at it yet. Amazing the grip it had all the weight over the wheels helps no doubt, but he didn't seem to suffer to much with wheel spin on the launch even though the track wasn't at its best

Yellow ones are at least a second slower than the other colours too

Yep That was my best time so far. Track was getting better, but I had gone there after working a 12 Hour Night shift and had been awake for 25 Hours. Thought best I went home as while waiting that 40mins for them to clean the track after that engine blowup I had feel asleep in the car. Still did a 11.95 @ 121.2mph on my last run.
Good day, there may be a 11.7 in there somewhere, not bad with only mid 400's bhp...

I'm ultima unaware, how many horses can these put out,
mid 400's standard ?

Yes that would be standard for a newer model. There are a few 525hp+ Ultimas about. The chassis is designed to accept upto 1000hp. The most powerful Ultima I am aware of is running twin turbos on his sbc and at full boost can push 1300hp.
