Thats his responsibility,its a judgement call and IMHO he is usually right
This weekend he is probably the only moderator (or one of very few) around as most of the others have gone to "back home
Just checked all the recent "locked threads" and most have been moved to another more appropriate foroum
Big Al do use a favour and lock this one

Hi Gordon, sorry to disappoint.
I can only remember closing one thread on the Chim forum this weekend.
Was this the one you were referring to?

I did explain to midge that P/H had had a post previously on the same subject and Ted had the request in hand.
No problem with the post, reasonable request.
I do try to assist members to keep track of postings where I can.
On the Chimaera forum, believe it or not, I do read every thread posted on the forum!
It can get confusing to say the least at times, if you get even a cross (double) post running.
So, it's not my intension to yield a big stick and shut down anything I don't like, on the contary.
I just try to push a broom around in the background to keep the Chim forum tidy and relatively pure for Chimaera related topics.
