Its 8 full days til I leave...!!!

This is my first year aswell! Im getting the stickers on the cars this saturday.... then going on the kent run on sunday morning with all the stickers on! organising our camping gear, and reading up on any last minute advice from the more experienced Le Man'ers (is that even a word?)

I cant wait to be part of a convoy all the way down to BSJ, Ive convoy'ed ? in this country but never to an event like le mans, or with all stickers over the aswell!

Even better news is it looks like I've found a replacement co-driver... family friend who can be a bit annoying at times but he's ok in small doses..

Nope, everything else i have to do before Le Mans has gone to the wayside, especially as our group has just gained 2 more pals and a DB9, so my lowly 300bhp Saab is going to struggle keeping up with a RRsport, Ultima and said Aston.

Roll on the 16th, which is also my birthday!

Its fair to say I am getting quite excited.

Bonus for me as straight after the race I am off to meet up with old man and his 456 together with 15 other cars from the Ferrari owners club for an 8 day luxury trip around Europe.

A few nights in the Hotel De Paris in Monaco will be well deserved after suffering the bogs in Houx for 4 days

Wahoo... Exaclty one week from now we are scheduled to meet in Tesco's car park... where we will decide what we have forgotten, leave, collect it, return, and set off an hour behind schedule...Wahoo!
