Plenum chamber V8s

If memory is correct the V8s plenum chamber throttle body is 64mm? Has anyone got a plenum chamber with a larger throttle body, and if so what was the throttle response like? Also is it worth upgrading to the carbon fibre trumpets and and again is their any noticable change? I assume larger throttle body would mean change to the engine management system. I get the impression the air flow on the V8s is limited, chemistry states more oxygen more efficient combustion. Any tips pointers would be welcome.

You can make these changes piecemeal, but if you want it to work well you need to consider the whole system from the cam/heads, manifold, trumpet base, trumpets, plenum/throttle, AFM and intake ducting.

Re heads are they already ported? I assume big valve heads. What is the size of the throttle body on the V8s.
