I need to show someone with access to the net about 60Mb of photos. I suppose what I need is an easy to use on line photo album that I can send my mate a link to?
Anyone recommend a service that is easy to use that I can swap photos about easily. It will probably not get much use after these photos are uploaded so a free service that does have a ton of ads on it would be good.

Any ideas - preferably one that someone has tried/uses themselves?

Ta very much

Flickr.

I fell out with Photobucket when I discovered what an arse-on it is to share up an entire album.

Picasa - http://picasa.google.com/

Excellent tool for managing your photo's and a piece of cake to upload them to a web album.

Fair comment - so Flickr or Photobox so far.

Do either of these drive you mad with junk mails etc?

No spam as yet from Flickr - but I was careful to tick the right boxes when I signed up.

Another vote for photobox.

Incredibly easy to share albums and the printed quality of the images is very good. Plus the more you buy the bigger your album capacity gets. thumbup

One has to be a member to browse, AIUI; this means that sharing is less easy.

But to be a member takes 2 minutes and you as long as other people are members, sharing is easy, its how I send pictures to my folks... tho the time trying to explain how to use facebook to 2 old people (50+) it might have been quicker to post them....

Went with Photobox in the end, easy to set up, works a treat, perfect for someone with limited IT skills(me).

Only reason I opted for it over Flikr was the sign up process looked simpler - no doubt just as good though.

Thanks to all again thumbup
