Morning all,

A couple of years ago i borrowed my brother's SOny digital camera, the DSC-U60.

For the uninitiated its a waterproof 2Mp digital camera, usable down to 2m and gives some pretty good images. It fitted in one hand and was easy to use one handed.

His was stolen last year, and i've been trying to get hold of one for my holiday to the Dominican Republic in September. They stopped making them a while ago, and there's one on eBay, but i was wondering if anyone knows of a replacement?

Even though it was only 2Mp, it gave some great pictures (i'll stick one up when i can get into Photobucket).

It doesn't have to be Sony, just a similar digicam designed for the purpose.

The U60 was only about £110 too, so very cheap...

Ahhh... the U60!

I had, still have, one of those. Bought specifically to put through far more than Sony ever intended: http://www.pikeynet.com/05/02/21/global_challenge0... Worked an absolute treat, although it didn't half eat batteries (well at sub zero temps anyway!).

Last time I looked there wasn't a replacement. You might want to keep your eye on ebay. If I wanted to sell mine (which I don't - sorry!), I'd pop it up on there.

Lovely little thing.

Yep, it doesn't have the compactness or 'one-handedness' of the U60, but at £66 it'll do!!
