Anybody else got this on the Wii? I've only played it for about an hour but have to say it does seem really good fun so far. Not sure I'm brave enough to venture online yet though.

I'm tempted to buy it. Would love to know what it is like to play. I'd mostly play online so a review would be ace.

Its excellent. Great fun and i keep losing online

Occasional problems with dropping of the connection to Nintendo WFC.

I play my eight year old nephew online and have not beaten him yet!

There are plenty of reviews on the net.

Brought it yesterday. Dobbo, you still about?

I was a bit wary at first, but I decided to look up some reviews and buy some games for Xmas time for the family and I to play.

I brought this and Warios Smooth moves.

What a fun game to play. I haven't played online yet but I'll get stuck into that this week.

Anyone for a game? Swap some friend codes?

To be perfectly honest I played this a handful of times and then stopped. It's one of those games you have to play with mates otherwise it's not engaging enough to play for long.

Edit to add - never been online with the Wii - and have a backlog of XBox 360 games to get through so I can't see me picking this up again. When the Wii gets turned on it's to play bowling whilst drinking booze with friends!

I know what you mean.

I brought the Wii as a party/ friends over console. I never play it on my own but I thought for only £180 it was worth it.

Great when friends are around and you all get stuck in but as you say, I play my online games on the PC.

If you play over Xmas, give me a shout.

i've got it, played for a a good few hours over a period of 4 weeks and got bored. Biggest problem with online is that unless your really into it enough kids will blow you away with they're set peices they've practiced to perfection! Thus leading to one very annoyed wii user switching it off before game is over... oh yer thats another problem. When your just about to get a really good score over someone which will pull you up the table rankings the other player will leave the game so wasting your 3 minutes of hard work....

If you want a cool game get lego starwars, not much different to other platforms other than you get to wield the lightsaber using the wii remote!

Surely if you want the coolest game on Wii right now you only need head towards Super Mario Galaxy.

You need it in your life, it has even converted my girlfriend into something of an addict and she was quoted a while back as saying 'You'll never have a single gaming console in my house' (I now have the Wii in downstairs and my 360 and PS3 upstairs in a specific gaming room).

Lego Star Wars does sound cool with the Wii-mote but I played both games to death on the Xbox and 360 respectively, so will probably wait for Force Unleashed next year for my Lightsaber swinging fest.

As for Mario Strikers, my mate bought it and we played it a couple of times, but there are more fun multiplayer games out there and Pro Evo seems to take over when you want to play a bit of footie.

I think the indian jones version coming next year would be a better bet, you even get to use a whipp!

TBH i still cant make up my mind on which new console i should get... i think i may just get one and live with it.
