Low mileage 968CS
Discussion
I was talking last night to a friend who has a 968CS, he was saying that he would have to get rid of it as his elderly father struggled to get in and out, when he took him shopping in it.
I thought his car may be of interest to someone on here.
I am not sure of the specification, other than it is Maritime blue, with blue wheels and black side scripts.
It is on an M registration plate and has done 41k miles.
I don't know if it is MO30 spec or has any other bits, and I don't know what it is worth.
It has had little use in the time my friend has owned it, as he works 6 days a week.
If the car is of interest to anyone I could pass on your details to my friend if you e mail me through my profile, (he does not own a computer).
Mods, please delete this post if it does not comply with the rules regarding adverts. I hope this is okay as the car is not actually for sale anywhere, I am just trying to help a friend and other PH'ers before he trades it in somewhere for a more sensible car.

Probably worth sticking a post on the Porsche Club forum and www.porsche968uk.co.uk.
Does sound a nice car and people will pay over the odds for a low mileage car. I know of one with under 30K on the clock and it is mint.

My friend purchased the car originally from Strasse and paid a premium as it had low mileage.
When he first thought about selling it a few months back he went there and the offer they must have made him put him off selling it.
Fast forward to last week, and he still thinks he needs a more sensible car to transport his widowed father about in, but due to working 6 days a week he has very little time on his hands to sort selling the car out.
He mentioned to me he had to get rid of it, so I put the post on here. In the mean time he got chatting to someone and said he was going to sell it. This passed along the bush telegraph to Strasse who phoned him up and bid him, I guess he let it go for an easy sale.
If he had had the time and inclination I am sure he could have got a couple of thousand pounds more for it, but I suppose he valued his limited time more than the extra cash he could get for the car.
I was suprised when he told me he had sold it back to Strasse, as I am sure the interest my post generated would have led to someone buying it.
I can only apologise if my post got anyone excited who now feels let down. I was just trying to help a mate out.
