rFactor, better supported, bigger online community, endless real cars and circuits.

I prefer how LFS drives, and its easier to get an online race, since there are no version problems.

BUT, rFactor is great fun, with a huge variety of mods and what-not. Both are great.

LFS feels more realistic, but suffers from lack of mods. Some out-of-the-box cars are based on real ones, so that's at least good.

rFactor has better graphics and sound, and lots of mods. Traction model is a bit off, though.

could never get rFactor to run on my machine, so LFS for me all the way.

there both excellent, LFS feels more realistic to drive, especially the modified road cars

having said that, Rfactor has so many different types of cars, and the quality and feel of the cars is dependant on the skill of the modder who created it

some cars are spot on, and just as good as LFS in my opinion, some frankly are not realistic at all.

whichever you choose i doubt you will be dissapointed
