Possibly, check that chassis properly i dont need to tell you corrosion is normally worst than it 1st seems, check outriggers, and the tubes just below the ex header pipes, and all the rest of the chassis tubes, good luck you may indeed have a bargain on your hands.

He bought 5 years ago and its been parked up almost ever since-
I serviced it twice-replacing brakes etc but it hasnt moved since-parked outside too,its a good one and being an MOT tester I can see the chassis is just about good-but needs treating asap and powder coating.
The rear screen needs restitching and the dash reworking, otherwise the engine, box etc are sound

If you want cheap, try this:-

£5500 for a '98 450! Must be a catch somewhere.

Yep, it's one of those standard Nigerian scams. There are frequently nice cars on ebay at about half their value. Ebay really need to wise up... they often stay on for days (even after having been reported).

Not sure how you're going to do that without lifting the body off and completely refurbing the chassis. If you've got the time, patience, skill and equipment it might still be a good deal but I bet if you go into this thinking you can patch it up you'll be disappointed and end up with a much bigger project than you bargained for. At that price I'd go for it and read the recent body-off threads on how to do it. Good luck!
Edited to remove a spurious Pies' quote - with apologies for taking your name in vain!
