Nikon D50 for £250 - should I buy?

It is 18 months old and comes with a Sigma 28-200mm lense? I am currently using a Fuji s5000 and feel like upgrading. Is this good value?

not when you can get a d70 or canon 350d for a little more

ok camera but for the sake of 50 notes you could up a level

I'd say that's a pretty good deal, but check out how many shots it's taken (shutters have a limited life) and budget for a new lens - that one isn't wide enough for everyday use due to the 1.5x crop factor over 35mm.

You'd probably be better off with a new 350d or s/h d70 as suggested.

I bought my s/h D70 for £200 so it might be worth shopping around a bit. Ok it was body only but with a lens I reckon there will be one around your price range.
