Hi again,

Not posted for a while, due to being addicted to my new car lol.

Some of you may remember my post titled "put a deposit down on a 997"

I got lots of mixed views about it, and quite a few were certain I was making it all up.

Well in the end I picked it up on Thursday last week.

Here are some pictures I took at the Weekend. Hope you like it smile and hopefully you will all believe me now lol.

Thanks

Liam

yeah yeah, I saw a 997 parked the other day and could've taken some pictures of it...

Why would anything think it odd that someone was buying a 911? Lots of people on here have done that. Looks nice BTW.

thanks for your replies...much appreciated

Insurance wise I went with Chris @ Michael Ward's. Thorny on here recommended him. I have sent an email to Thorny personally, but he's not replied, so I'm not sure if he's recieved it or not, so I'll say thanks again if your reading this Thorny!

For you young ones on here that wants to know how I did it:

I did it by Working, no drink, no fags, not really any outgoings, (tht doesn't mean you can't go out with your mates at the weekend) ermmm oh and don't spend your money are silly stuff. Oh and don't let your woman spend your money lol. Become "Scrooge" if you like...I'm not a QS honest! lol

If you put your mind to it, then you will achieve your goal!

Wahey!...You should also see what Buzzlightyears car is like! hehe

Evo...each to thier own...I just never have seen the logic behind getting drunk, as it only lasts one night n the next day you feel rubbish? But then again lots of people do it so it must be good.

The thing is that I get a buzz out of driving...yes probably thats sad...but thats always been my passion ever since I can remember.

Now where did I put my beer...

So how much does a 20 year old pay to insure that? I know 20 year olds paying £1500-£2000 to insure junk.
