As you can see, we changed the looks of the Tasmin untill we really liked it. What do you think of it?

Hmmm... How did we get the tail lights... We ordered them at a shop in the neighbourhood (Van De Peijl). They had 2 lights in stock, 2 came from another shop in the Netherlands and last 2 came from Germany. I think I once saw a picture of a Ferrari with similar lights.

Edited to add: The make of the tail lights is "Hella". They make a lot of different lights.

Very nice. The front looks very much like an Esprit S1. Can yours go under water as well?

Must agree with Boltontvr, the front end does look like a series 1 Lotus Esprit with the front spoiler removed, does not look out of place either !!

Hope the car is going well for you Cathlijne, are you coming to the UK for any TVR events this year ??

I think I come to the UK next year. I'm a student so I can't go whenever I want to, maybe after my graduation in March. I don't life that far from Zolder, so it's also possible you can find me there. (unfortunately my exams are in the same week as Zolder this year....)

Hoi Cathelijne,

Groeten,
Bernard

Good luck with your exams.

How can a student afford to run a TVR?? I had to make do with a Ford Capri that took me three years of saving for !!!!

Hmmm, hard to make a proper judgement from the piccies. I suggest you take it down the road from Zeeland to the west of Brabant so I can have a good look at it. I'll tell you whether I like it then ;-)

I wondered what my wedge would look like with round lights. Ferrari GTO & others only had 2 tail lights. The rear end wasn't as short & boxey as the wedge. I'm not so sure it looks any better but a worthwhile experiment.

After changing my computer settings, i finally get to see the mods for your car! You changed the car quite a bit! Can't get a good look at the front tough, what did you do with the front spoiler, did you cut off the lower half ?? The rear lights look like a ferrari 308. Is there anyone else who makes these kind of changes to his or her car??

Don't worry, we didn't just cut the spoiler off. Unscrewing some bolts was enough. The only problem was that the car wasn't sprayed on the place were the spoiler used to be.... But as you can see, we also solved that. For the ones who are worried about the removed parts: We still have them.

Cathelijne, car looks good. Did you do any mods to the interior?

Also, looks like the rear wheels have a lot of camber on them. (at least they're even, unlike mine). Is this intentional?

Oh yeah, for the benefit of the very stupid, (me) can you please tell us step by step how you get photos to appear on your post.

Thanks,

Yes, we did some things with the interior too. The covering of both doors was damaged when we bought it. Like you can see on one of the pictures, we replaced it with wood. We did the same with some parts on the tunnel (under the handbrake).

The camber of the rear wheels is original. As far as we know, it's not adjustable. At least not on this car.

Ok, how to post a picture:

- upload it to an online photo album or your own webspace.
- Try to find out the address:
* Right click on the picture
* Add to favorites
* Search in your favorites where you put it and open it
* Copy the address (Example: http://people.zeelandnet.nl/fossiel/page.jpg)
-typ [pic] before the address (not spaces!!!)
- typ [/pic] after the address (also no spaces)

Result:

(It's also explained by the "Formatting Codes" when you type a post )

The rear camber is adjustable, by shims at the diff end off the driveshafts. UJ problems are the most common cause of too much camber
