New Tuscan Race Car Owner

I've just agreed to purchase a Tuscan Challenge car, cant believe I've actually gone and done it. Got a skip coming at the weekend to empty the garrage out, its going to live with my Tuscan 2. The wife did an eppy, god almighty she is one unhappy camper, goinfg to start a bit of racing up with a view when I'm at a standard to enter the Tuscan challenge - any tips and advise on the car and the racing lessons would me appreciated.

In my view the quickest way to learn is to race the car after a couple of tests to familiarise yourself with it and so you are safe.
The car will only go as fast as you want it to; you can start steady and build up. Given the variety of different cars in the Tuscan Challenge now you are guaranteed to have others to race against whatever your pace
As far as tips are concerned - slow in fast out is probably the most helpful. The other is to thoroughly spanner check the car after every session.
They are fabulous cars to drive, I'm sure you'll have a great deal of fun in it.

Well done shapeshifter , of course, before the Testing and Racing phase is the ;
"sitting in the car in the garage at midnight on weekdays (2am weekends) - in a a state of advanced refreshment,bewilderment and awe - furiously turning the steering wheel whilst making bbbbrrrmm and brap brap noises stage".
Females will usuallly try and curtail this sort of activity - best advice i can give is to padlock yourself in the garage before commencing.

I did the same thing 2 years ago and would agree with Andy H, that the best thing to do is to get out and test it a couple of times and then go racing in the Tuscan Challenge Series. Start slowly and build it up and most importantly - have fun!!! I notice you live in Surrey, I'm on the Surrey/Hants borders, so if you want to meet up for a chat, PM me with your info'.
