Had a few minutes spare, so stitched together some Google Earth screen shots of Le Mans. Then had the idea to overlay the layout like the one on the Club Arnage Map.

Any thoughts / ideas for additions ?

Working on the Circuit layout and labelling when I get a mo.

Here's what I've got so far...

Not sure about anyone else but I would benefit from seeing where the shuttle buses depart from that get you about. biggrin

Absolutely great idea ! smile

....however I think you'd be better of starting with the CA map you mentioned...

and carrying on overlaying camping / viewing / parking areas (with labels).

The reason I suggest the image above is that all local road / village names are shown which makes it a great help when getting around the area by car during the weekend.

Cool! Looks like walking from the camping at Beausejour down to Arnage is easy!

Carrefour, to the north of the road junction to the right of the red campsite, off the map.

Mammoth in Arnage Village, follow the road past the entrance to Beausejour (orange).

Super-U, to the west of the airport, off the map.

Driving directions:

Carrefour, first right after the main circuit entrance heading towards town, then first left, follow the road through the houses until you get to a T-junction, turn right and then immediate left at the X-roads, Carrefour is now on your right.

Mammoth, head into Arnage, follow the signs, it's down some back street.

Super-U, go down the road between Bleu Sud and Bleu Nord, this comes to a T-junction with a main road, turn left, across the level crossing, right at the roundabout and Super-U is a mile or two up the road at the next big roundabout.

Assuming you mean the bus to Arnage/Mulssane it's easy:

1) go to main entrance.
2) walk straight across the road into the corner of the car park.
3) stand around for a bit guessing which bus is actually going to move and where it's going to pick people up from (well they ARE French so you can't go expecting any form of signs/logic).

Not quite sure where the Beausejour bus goes (other than the Beausejour->Houx bit I've used it for when to hot/lazy to walk back from Porsche curves).

Shadytree, awesome pic! Would you mind posting the pic without the coloured shaded areas if possible?
