I've been trying to get hold of Graham at the the big P, but so far have missed him. However, I thought I'd ask here anyways!

Has anyone got a sound clip of the switchable exhaust? I've budgeted for it - but am a little unsure on it (I want it.. but do I need it?).

I know I can go back and get it done later for the same monies.. but I'm not that patient! smile

I can't answer you directly but I've got a Wortec cat back fitted without the switch and glad I didn't bother fitting one as the overall sound of the noise is just about right. I was concerned with waking up the neighbours early in the morning but it's ok.

Having said that I've only done around 20 miles in the car during the last 5 weeks....it might seem noisy now

(I'm recovering from a bike crash before anybody asks why I'm not using the car).

Ditto Demon
I am on my honeymoon period at the minute with mine, but do not see much point in getting it switched as it is not much louder at tickover than standard. (05 CV8 though)
As for the early starts i tend to start it up, let the clutch out and exit our estate on tickover..!

If you are only getting the Cat back I would say have it set to loud and it will be just right............BUT if/when you go to headers that is the time to fit the switch!

I have just had the performance pack with switch and it`s great. While it`s not that bad on loud i think it`s worth fitting the switch. I also recommend the ripshift. Both these items have resulted in a completly different car.

I also agree with fitting the Road Response pack, it really transformed my steering, I absolutely hated it before, it was so vague.
