Calling all mechanics

What do you think this is?

I have a loud tapping noise when driving at around 3000rpm but it only starts when I’m going up hill and dies out when the road levels?

I have replaced the exhaust gaskets but it’s still doing it?

The car is currently at Racing Green TVR (Nice Guys) for a new rear screen and complete carpet set so they are going to have a look but I’m curious.

Any ideas?

Have to agree with Cider Andy.

Are you using cheap supermarket unleaded? Try a tank of the super unleaded see if it still does it. Otherwise get the timing checked.
