Rest?

Driving on the M1 today (or rather being driven by Mrs cj) the car played its little song,like when it wants you to check the engine, only different. Leant over to see what the message was but before I saw it all quick fingers had reset it.

What I think I saw was `Rest required`

And who`s supposed to rest, me or the car.

Been driving for about 2 1/2 hours (well driven)

Anybody seen this.

You need to get your foot down a bit more so you get there quicker

Audis have the rest feature.... really annoying. The only reason to stop is for fuel or a pee...

Yes.

2 1/2 hrs and it suggests you take a rest and shows a picture of a picnic area with a tree.

How considerate.

No Scotch eggs though.

2 hours actually. I know when I drive up from Inverness to Thurso it only comes on if I have the wife in the car with me as I'm forced to go slower

Mine's dead on 2 1/4 hours. I've always wondered what happens if you don't reset it......? (eg like the "low fuel" then "very low Fuel" messages?
Ideas please!

Pretty sure mine is set at 2 hours. It's come on a couple of times. Just press mode to cancel it, then find a garage! Usually 2 hours driving means time to fill up again anyway!

hence the damage to your last ro
