Hi I have tried boxa net and the PCGB but no replies

I have a 2002 27k miles 2.7 box. Its in great condition but i have an irritating noise. It comes from the front end, a knocking sound especially when over bumpy ground.

Its deffo suspension related ie not steering rack - thats tight and direct. the noise comes only from driving.

can anyone please suggest what it may be or any known problem

If its a hollow sounding knock it could be front trailing arm joints - they support the lateral control arms and have a spherical joint that wears and causes the knock you describe.

Front Anti roll bar droplinks wear and cause the same - again just a spherical joint.
