I have a 2002 4.0L if thats any good.

I wrote that and was about to press submit when I remembered its in my car which is in the garage having a new head and dampers and won't be back for 2 weeks. So I'm not much use

Dom, I think the general opinion is that a de-cat "should" provide perhaps a 3% increase in BHP. I have found that the engine rev's a bit "freer" up and down (bit louder too mind..)

Not a spare as such, but I have scanned mine and can e-mail you a copy if you want.

PM me if you're interested.

Now that is a good question....talk to Dom at TVR Power as I don't want to mis-lead or mis-inform you. Theory suggests that the engine will over-fuel a little with the cats taken out so this needs to be addressed somehow. A full re-map might not be necessary but some adjustment is, in my opinion.

Had mine decatted & fitted with the chip from TVR Power. Along with the carbon cans the noise is fantastic! Oh & yes i'm sure there is a noticable difference in power but how much of that is due to wanting to hear the engine noise more i'm not sure??
