ITV seems to be ignoring its obligation to show the gp live, which means the qually as well in my view.

Is the qually for the cannuck GP being shown live on terrestial tv at all, or is it on a satelite/cable or a justpayusmore channel anywhere?

They're showing Grease, the film Grease, I can't believe it. Not even an original programme, a film that's 29 years old.

Hamliton on pole, though it looked like Alonso gave it away somewhat, weaving on the final straight..

Excellent Lewis on pole. Should be good to see if he can stay at the front!

Steve Ryder:

"Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton "

ITV coverage now so DUMB as to be unwatchable.

Congrats to LH on first pole.

He was only weaving because he knew he'd blown the lap by messing up the final chicane.

The Hamilton inftuation is sickening now, Ryder is so far up his arse its unbelieveable.

Notice that despite onboard camera shots in Q2 Allen didnt see that Kovaleinen was on track and not still in the garage, and he never noticed Heidfeld clip the wall untill about the fourth replay

Despite having the monitor in front of him and (after Brundle pointed it out) having a commentary box directly overlooking the final chicane.
