Im looking to put 17" Kahns or Fox 5s on my Chim. Does anyone know what the fitment is? will standard ford, vauxhall offsets etc fit? Dont suppose any of you have some you want to sell? Cheers

They are a Ford fitment 108PCD 4 stud, std wheels are ET25mm front & ET37.5mm rear (for Griff with 7 spokes)
Try this calculator to check your proposed set up

Good luck

David, why have you answered a Chim q on the Chim site with a Griff answer? Or is it the same answer - in which case no need to specify?

Dodger,
The Griff & Chim by and large share the same underpinings, I am not sure about the offset of the Chim wheels but logic dictates that they would be the same, especially considering the number of Chims with 7 spoke estorils. The PCD will be the same and the wheel offset calculator would be applicable for a Trabant or a Jumbo jet.
Having been through the wheel saga recently I was grateful to all those who took the time to reply to my queries.

Having recently broken a rear wheel I am now faced with buying a whole new set of wheels, but face the same problem of not knowing the offsets for my 4.0 Chimaera, is the rear 33 or 37.5?

My wheels (5 spoke style as used on a 4.0 Chimaera) are the same (I measured them as 1" inset front, 1.25" inset rear, but that's close enough). I wouldn't be at all surprised if different styles of wheel were different though (surprised if they *weren't* different knowing TVR) and I doubt whether quarter of an inch here or there makes enough difference to notice at the end of the day.

Many Thanks! I can get the wheels replaced in time for a track day in July! If anybody wants 1 rear and 2 front 5 spoke wheels let me know.
