I would have thought you be lucky to get a second hand one. Some people take them off but not many and it's not like you ever need to buy a new one to replace yours cus it's worn out !!

No, GRP. AFAIK, the only bespoke Noble carbon parts so far are those from the most excellent Noblemods:

Standard wings are carbon fibre - well, mine certainly is. My last car, Esprit Sport 350, also had a carbon fibre wing and it was as light as a fart !! Lotus charged over £1k as I recall for one.

Yup! V6GTO has a carbon wing also, also seen a blue one wiv same!
I think you could order your car from the factory with the wing un-painted.

Before mine was repainted you could just about see the CF weave through the paint.

Of course I meant "wing" - my car doesn't have a wong nor is it powered by noodle-drive! smile

Thanks Phil, are any other parts CF?

Mine is unpaintedand looks like CF but I understand that they are GRP with a layer of CF on top to make them look pretty. Happy to be proved wrong smile

The original wing is indeed that, it was laid up first with a CF layer. Later painted ones are just straight GRP.

So, it looks like most Nobles do NOT have carbon fibre wings in the manufactured in the conventional sense?
