Unidentified plug in engine bay

Ive just put a new cam in and whilst rebuilding I have found a round connector plug. It has a green and black wire and comes out of the loom just beneath the alternator. I'm wondering if it's a redundant air con plug.I dont recall it when i was dismantling and its got me worried. Has anyone got any ideas?

Yup air con, kinda an off white colour with a rubber o-ring seal on it.

Phew, thanks for that, tbh it was the o ring that was troubling me it looks sort of purposeful, i'll just chuck it back in the middle then, happy days, many thanks

Yep, i found that plug on mine, had me worried for a while as well
