Thinking of a T350 or Tamora due to the Griff being written off, just wondering if there is anything I should look out for?

I test drove a Tamora from dream machines today and liked it, seemed to handle very well and the brakes are much better, the direct steering as well was great.

It didn't sound too great though, so much noise from under the bonnet, it was better once warm but needed a sports exhaust or something.

Obviously the speed six has a question mark over it, I'm wondering what cost rebuilds normally come in at? having built a few engines before wondering if it did go bang could it be rebuilt with easy supply of parts at home?

I think if I went out tomorrow to buy a used T350
the first thing I would look out for is stone chips at the front and bonnet. Not the obvious big missing chunks
but the thousands of white specks you will see on closer examination. I would use this as a bargaining tool to get the price down. A good quality front end pearlescent respray will cost a grand or more

The Speed six sounds rough until warmed up, which in away, lets you know that.
So, you can use the oil temperature AND the "sound", to let you know when you can push those revs!wink

I did like it, a little too much actually.

Thinking of getting a private sale though then taking a wear and tear warrenty with power, seems a better idea than paying the dealer price and getting a early car for more money.

The wear and tear cover is amazing.... It even covered for a new clutch last year on my T350!!!
