Blimey, what lens is that? My 400mm won't focus that close I don't think. 3.5m is it's (close) limit

Graham,
I use a 100-400L IS which will focus to 1.8M, but then add a set of three extention tubes...13mm, 21mm and 31mm from Jessops, about £70-£75.

shout Oi - where is your website with all your bug pics then?

'under construction' only works for the first two years you know - by law you then have to change it to 'given up the ghost' wink

edit to add: Just a suggestion... right click save as - open your software, fill the table with pics, then upload it to your webspace (and make us all happy). http://www.stevecarter.com/wotapicture.htm

Web site is nearly there...am having some very nice chats with the man at www.imagefile.com

Very good.

Where are you photographing these? In the wild or captivity?

OK so as your site is nearly ready (cough), you won't need the idiot's guide... but just in case.

Open the html file I posted in Dreamweaver (or whatever)

Add a photo by clicking somewhere on the page and choosing 'INSERT PHOTO'

save the file.

Upload the photo and the html file to the same bit of webspace.

Bob's your uncle (well he may not be but that's your problem).
