964RS - Buying abroad.

Guys in the market for a 964 rs - prices in the UK seem all over the place..... Quite open to left hookers so it seems to make sense to broaden my search to encompass Europe. Having never done this before i am looking for a few reccomendations regarding reputable dealers (i am assured the exist).

Once i have something in sight i will bother the collective re:
- how to get a second opinion on condition.....
- How to import

There doesn't sem to be much price differential any more between the UK and Europe.....have heard of a few Uk cars going back to Germany www.mobile.de and www.germansportscars.de for an idea on prices.

There are some good cars in UK also, keep an eye out in classifieds and Porsche events....though a few cars tend to come up for sale towards the end of summer etc....many of the cars are known and quite a few change hands by word of mouth,,,look on here and keep an eye on the Porsche club 964RS forum as well..Good luck with your search

I would second that.

'Just returned from the Porsche R7 day at Harewood, six 964RS of which three or four had come from Gmund in Knaresbrough --- seemed a very contented bunch !

And two RHD !
