Not sure if this was better to suited to the breaks section but thought it pertains more to cleaning/shining so would ask here.

Had a new set of break discs fitted about a year ago and have only driven the car a handful of times since then and the discs have become "rusty" and dull in appearance (think this may have been as a result of a winter outing). Are there any aftermarket products (ie sprays etc) I can use to liven them up a bit. Cheers.

You broke your brakes? yikes
Or should I say, you breaked your brakes?

The rust will come off when you brake. Next time you replace them, buy zinc coated ones to prevent the rusting of the circumferential face .
Equally use a wire brush or wire wool to remove the rust on the braking surface.

Simple answer is no. Disks can be cleaned by driving the car and warming up the disk then start breaking hard. Your disks just need more use!

Yep as mentioned just drive the car and they will clean up, maybe worth taking the first few breaking sessions carefully as they will be cleaning their selves up rather than stopping as well as expected.
